(2) Mechanical Conveyor Installation Technicians (TRAVEL)
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring experienced Mechanical Conveyor Installers LOCAL to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that are ALSO able to travel in the near future for conveyor projects across the United States. Individual jobs will range from 1-3 weeks but there is no shortage of work for reliable/productive workers. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of mechanical conveyor experience. This will be an indefinite, full-time opportunity with a comprehensive package, credit card, 401k match up to 5%, 2 weeks PTO after first year, for the best of the best.
Mechanical Conveyor Installer Duties
- Install bolt-up systems
- Assemble, install and dismantle various types of conveyor systems
- Troubleshoot, repair or replace broken or worn down mechanical parts
Mechanical Conveyor Installers Qualifications
- Able and willing to work locally for a couple months initially to demonstrate your capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time once on the road
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- 5+ years of mechanical conveyor installation experience
- Knowledge and experience using both hand tools and power tools is required.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Mechanical Conveyor Installers Compensation/Benefits
- $28-$35/hr BOE
- Once traveling, per diem ranges between $110-$130/day based on location
- Working up to 50-60 hours/week M-S as needed
