Position: 6G Certified Pipe Welder/Fitter
Company: Summit Skilled Solutions
Location: Northeast Ohio (locals only- no per diem)
Experience Level: 4+ years of welding in the 6G position
6G Certified Pipe Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
- 6G Certification: Must possess a valid 6G certification
- Field Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant field experience in 6G welding
- Some fitting experience is required
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license
- PPE and Tools: Must have personal protective equipment (PPE), hand tools, and tools specific to the trade and scope of work
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential
- OSHA 10 a plus but not required
6G Certified Pipe Welder/Fitter Duties:
- Welding in 6G Position: Perform welding tasks in the 6G position
- Pipe Fitting: Fit pipes as required
- Safety Compliance: Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all safety regulations and practices
- Continual Learning: Maintain an open-minded willingness for continual learning in the field
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management
6G Certified Pipe Welder/Fitter Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $30-$32/hr (based on experience/weld test)
