Bending Machine Operator – Steel Industry
We are currently hiring Fitters/Tube Benders skilled in shaping and bending various materials. Candidates must have a strong background in reading technical drawings and using steel-bending machinery, with at least 3 to 5 years of proven experience.
Key Responsibilities for the Fitters/Tube Benders Role:
- Precision bending and forming of steel to match blueprint specifications
- Must interpret both metric and imperial blueprints, including sectional views
- Proficient in working with radii and complex shapes
- Cutting and assembling structural elements as per design requirements
- Perform welding in various positions, guided by blueprints
- Prepare materials and surfaces for welding
Fitters/Tube Benders Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience in the field
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
- Welding certifications are a bonus but not mandatory
