BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW

Business Development Managers are responsible for establishing new relationships with Commercial and Industrial contractors and manufacturing companies, providing them skilled tradespeople to supplement their permanent workforce so they can more efficiently manage the fluctuations in workload throughout the year. Also able to offer temp to hire and permanent placement solutions. Also tasked with further cultivating existing client relationships and furthering revenue opportunities.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use a variety of methods to reach commercial and industrial construction and manufacturing decision makers and schedule phone/face to face meeting
  • Expand existing territory and help increase sales with active clients
  • Determine contractor’s current and future manpower needs
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques and make suggestions/recommendations to best meet the contractor’s goals and expectations
  • Utilize proven sales cycle/methodology (Counselor Sales Process/CSP) to close business and secure CSA
  • Serve as the client’s single point of contact, maintaining the customer relationship throughout the sales process and servicing of the account
  • Engage with operations team to ensure that orders are filled and serviced
  • Responsible for hitting or exceeding monthly sales goals in both Revenue and Profitability
  • Tasked with meeting or surpassing monthly CSA goals

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Reliable, Motivated, Driven, Proactive, Tenacious, Problem Solver, Organized
  • 3+ years B2B/consultive sales experience with localization industry preferred
  • Ideal experience of developing business in the financial services sector
  • Consistent Achievement of Sales Targets:
  • Demonstrated a robust and sustained track record of not only meeting but consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Utilized effective sales strategies and techniques to consistently drive revenue growth.
  • Possess extensive experience navigating the entire sales life cycle, from lead generation to successful deal closure.
  • Successfully managed large and complex corporate deals, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in long-term business agreements.
  • Large Corporate Deal Experience:
  • Excelled in handling negotiations and closing deals with major corporate clients, attaining a deep understanding of their unique requirements and challenges.
  • Applied a strategic approach to tailor sales efforts towards the specific needs of large corporate entities, resulting in successful and sustainable partnerships.
  • Long-Term Deal Management:
  • Proficient in managing long-term deals, demonstrating the ability to foster enduring relationships with clients.
  • Successfully orchestrated deals that not only met immediate business needs but also laid the foundation for sustained collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Strategic Lead Generation:
  • Implemented effective lead generation strategies to identify and engage potential clients at various stages of the sales funnel.
  • Demonstrated a keen ability to identify and prioritize high-value leads, optimizing the efficiency of the sales process.
  • Negotiation Skills:
  • Adept at negotiation tactics, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients in large-scale deals.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER COMPENSATION

  • Base salary PLUS uncapped commissions
  • $100,000+ 2nd year earning potential
