Civil Construction Field Foreman $35-45/HR
Local GC is hiring a Civil Construction Field Foreman for projects in and around Rifle, CO.
Civil Construction Field Foreman Duties
- Oversee and manage in field duties of assigned civil construction projects
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Work with Project Managers to complete projects on time and within budget
- Monitor and manage progress and quality of work on-site
- Ensure crew is informed and follows all safety measures
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Operate equipment when needed
- Effectively read plans, utilize GPS systems and verify grades
Civil Construction Field Foreman Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Civil Construction Field Foreman or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
- Strong leadership, management and planning skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using Heavy Job to ensure daily time, notes, photos and quantities are correct and accurate
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
- Ability to effectively communicate with Project Managers, employees and customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
