Commercial Carpenter Lead/Foreman $35-$40/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Commercial Carpenter Leads/Foremen experienced with doing retail new construction and remodels. Job scope includes but is not limited to metal/wood framing, drywall hanging/finishing, acoustical ceiling grid, metal doors/hardware, etc. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of commercial experience along with 3+ years working in a Lead/Foreman capacity. This is a working position so hand tools and proper PPE are required. OSHA 10 a PLUS but not required.
Commercial Carpenter Lead/Foreman Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in commercial carpentry experience
- 3+ years experience as a Lead/Foreman
- Must have 2+ years of retail new construction/remodel experience
- Must have exp with metal/wood stud framing, drywall hanging/finishing, ceiling grid and metal doors/hardware experience
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Must have hand tools based on skill-level/trade
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a must
Commercial Carpenter Lead/Foreman Duties:
- Travel the country doing retail new construction/remodels for our 4-5 national customers
- Spend 2-4 weeks at any individual location
- Oversee a crew of 3-6 people
- Metal/wood framing
- Drywall hanging/finishing
- Acoustical ceilings
- Doors/hardware
- Other duties as needed
Commercial Carpenter Lead/Foreman Compensation/Benefits:
- $35-$40/hr BOE
- $100+/day per diem (based on location)
- Working 6-7/10s typically
- Paid weekly direct deposit
