Commercial Carpenter Responsibilities:
– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
– Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
– Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
– Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
– Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements
– Collaborate with other carpenters and construction workers on-site
Commercial Carpenter Requirements:
– Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction or remodeling industry
– Proficient in using hand and power tools
– Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods
– Familiarity with woodworking materials and their properties
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
– Excellent problem-solving skills
