Summit Skilled Solutions is actively seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Installers (local to the Akron area) to travel around to various Starbucks projects in OH meeting at our shop and traveling with our crew to the job. If you are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality HVAC installations, we want to hear from you!
Commercial HVAC Responsibilities:
- Meet up with crew at shop and travel to the jobsite
- Install new commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Builds comfort systems by installing air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, duct work, refrigerant tubing, and related components; completes high and low voltage power connections.
- System start up and commissioning including verifying refrigerant charge, cfm settings and temperature difference
- Install units per code
- On site installation of ductwork
- Reading mechanical prints
Commercial HVAC Qualifications:
- Must live locally to the Akron area
- 3-5 years of previous commercial install experience
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams / mechanical drawings
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have valid drivers license, reliable transportation and hand tools for trade/skill level
- Must have standard PPE and hand tools
Commercial HVAC Compensation/Benefits:
- $25-$28/hr BOE
- Working 4/10s- 3 day weekends for summer
