Job Description:
Join our team at a local mechanical company specializing commercial projects across Southwest Ohio. We are seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Installers with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial HVAC installation. Commercial HVAC Installer Responsibilities:
- Install new commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Assemble comfort systems including air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, ductwork, refrigerant tubing, and related components.
- Perform system start-up and commissioning, ensuring proper refrigerant charge, airflow settings, and temperature differentials.
- Install units in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Fabricate ductwork on-site as required, following mechanical prints and specifications.
- Work independently or as part of a team while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Refrigeration experience or certification is a plus.
Commercial HVAC Installer Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of previous commercial HVAC installation experience.
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Preferably, 2+ years of on-site ductwork fabrication experience.
- Ability to handle physical workloads and solve problems efficiently.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and hand tools appropriate for the trade.
- All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hat, high-visibility vest/shirt, safety glasses, and work boots.
Commercial HVAC Installer Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $25-$30 per hour (BOE)
