Job Title: Mechanical Conveyor Installer/Welder
Location: Spokane Valley, WA
Summit Skilled Solutions is looking for skilled Mechanical Conveyor Installers/Welders for an ongoing conveyor project in Spokane Valley, WA. As a Mechanical Conveyor Installer, you will be responsible for assembling and installing conveyor systems, ensuring they are set up according to client specifications. You will collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines and adhere to safety standards.
Mechanical Conveyor Installer/Welder Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Assemble and install conveyor systems based on detailed specifications.
- Structural stick welding (weld test-2 joint weld, 70-18, 1/4 in weld
4×4 T Plate, 1/4 in, overhead and vertical)
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess installation requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues on-site.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Mechanical Conveyor Installer/Welder Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience in conveyor installation or similar field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
- Stick welding experience is required. (weld test-2 joint weld, 70-18, 1/4 in weld
4×4 T Plate, 1/4 in, overhead and vertical)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Standard PPE and hand tools required.
Mechanical Conveyor Installer/Welder Compensation/Benefits:
- $27/hr
- $150/day per diem x 7 days (if all scheduled hours worked)
- Working 5-6/10s
