Pay Rate: $30/hour + $120/day Per Diem
Schedule: Full-time (project-based, hours may vary based on operations)

Summit Skilled Solutions is actively seeking an experienced Conveyor Mechanic/Welder to support ongoing operations at a UPS facility in Eagan, MN. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced distribution environment, focused on maintaining and repairing conveyor systems critical to daily operations.
Position Summary
The Conveyor Mechanic/Welder will be responsible for performing welding, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, field experience, and the ability to work safely within an active warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform welding and structural repairs on conveyor systems and related components

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with conveyor equipment

Conduct preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with UPS safety standards and site protocols

Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support production schedules

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience welding on conveyor systems (REQUIRED)

Strong mechanical background with hands-on conveyor maintenance experience

Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working in an active warehouse/distribution setting

Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
