Residential Electrician Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics. This role requires the ability to work on construction sites, ensuring that all electrical installations are performed safely and efficiently.
Residential Electrician Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on residential job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
- Perform low voltage wiring for various applications as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and codes while working on-site.
Residential Electrician Experience
- 5 years proven experience as an Electrician in a residential settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus, as it may be required for certain installations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
- Experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
- Experience with rough ins
Residential Electrician Compensation/Benefits:
- $28 to $32/hr to start
