Electrician
Job Title: Commercial Electrician
Location: Erie, PA
Company: A Pennsylvania-based electrical contractor is hiring Commercial Electricians for projects in and around Erie, PA. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in commercial installs. OSHA 10 certification is required.
Commercial Electrician Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical systems based on job specifications and local codes.
- Determine the necessary tools and equipment for each job and utilize a variety of tools and testing equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspections to assess quality and performance.
- Follow blueprints to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing and pull insulated wires or cables through designated areas to complete circuits.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches and lifting heavy objects.
- Fluent in EMT conduit and have modest experience with rigid conduit.
- Perform power distributions, including transformers, panels, and fenders.
- Able to perform large and small wire pulls with minimal supervision.
- Establish and maintain a teamwork environment and interact effectively with customers or the public.
- Other related tasks and duties as needed.
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
- 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship preferred but not required.
- First Aid/CPR/AED and Arc Flash training are a plus.
- OSHA 10 certification is required.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must have basic hand tools appropriate for your trade and skill level.
- Power tools experience is a plus.
Commercial Electrician Compensation:
- $25/hr to $27/hr
- Weekly direct deposit
