Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring an experienced Trade Show Exhibit Installation Technician for their shop in Rittman. This position involves a range of responsibilities focused on assisting with the manufacturing, installation, and coordination of trade show exhibits. MUST HAVE prior experience with assembling/installing POS or exhibit displays.
Trade Show Exhibit Installation Technician Duties:
- Manufacturing and Installation of Exhibits:
- Assist in the production and assembly of exhibit systems.
- Participate in the installation of exhibits at trade shows, ensuring they are set up according to specifications.
- Customer Interaction:
- Educate customers on exhibit systems, providing guidance and assistance during trade shows.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, addressing client needs and inquiries professionally.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate trade show services, which may include shipping logistics and on-site arrangements.
- Ensure all materials and equipment are properly transported and set up for each exhibit.
- Operational Tasks:
- Utilize a forklift for material handling and exhibit setup.
- Demonstrate proficiency with various hand tools, including cordless drills, for assembly tasks.
- Schedule Flexibility and Travel:
- Be available for evening and weekend work as required by trade show schedules.
- Travel locally and nationally for trade shows, with expenses covered by the company.
Trade Show Exhibit Installation Technician Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude and Assembly Skills: Ability to understand and perform assembly tasks.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients.
- Deadline Management: Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
- Forklift Operation: Experience operating a forklift is preferred, with certification a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Driver’s License: Valid license and reliable transportation are necessary.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Travel: Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows, with expenses covered.
