Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise land measurements, preparing survey reports, and collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across the Cincinnati area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field surveys using advanced equipment to measure land features, boundaries, and elevations.
- Prepare and interpret survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to provide accurate survey data.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations and standards.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
- Analyze survey results and produce detailed reports for project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in modern surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, drones) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
- Understanding of local and state land regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
