General Laborer/Material Handler $22/HR
Job Title: General Laborer/Material Handler (hiring 40+ people)
Job Location: Knoxville, TN 37924 (LOCALS ONLY)
Employment Type: Temporary
Work Schedule: Starts Monday April 27th– Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
General Labor/Material Handler Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of general labor/material handling experience preferred but not required
- MUST be able to pass a drug test
- MUST be able to consistently lift and move packages on and off of conveyors in an Amazon facility ranging from 1-35lbs
- MUST already have, or be able to get PPE including a hard hat, work boots and high-visibility vest (all sold at Wal-Mart) prior to starting the 27th
General Labor/Material Handler Duties:
- Lift and move packages on and off of conveyors in an Amazon facility testing
- Load and off load packages until the individual conveyor passes diagnostics 3 times- move on to the next one
- Perform job site clean-up
- Assist with other duties as needed
General Labor/Material Handler Compensation:
- $22/hr
- M-F, no night no weekends
- Weekly direct deposit
