Industrial Electrician
National electrical contractor is hiring a Licensed TX Journeyman Electrician for a 6-week water treatment project in Round Mountain, TX starting ASAP. To be considered you MUST HAVE an TX Journeyman card (No other reciprocating states will be accepted). Ideal candidates will have 5+ years experience with both commercial and industrial electric.
Licensed TX Journeyman Electrician Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in solar fields.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job; Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
- Be knowledgeable on tool usage, some examples include: cable reels, screwdrivers, stripping tools, voltage or current meters, wire or cable cutters, etc.
- Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.
- Fluent with EMT conduit and modest experience with rigid conduit.
- Can perform power distributions (transformers, panels, fenders, etc.).
- Able to perform large and small wire pulls with little or no supervision.
- Other additional related tasks and duties as needed.
Licensed TX Journeyman Electrician Qualifications
- TX Journeyman license REQUIRED
- Min of 5 years comm/industrial electrical exp
- OSHA 10 preferred but NOT required
- MUST have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- MUST have basic hand tools for your trade and skill level
Licensed TX Journeyman Electrician Compensation
- $36-$38/hr (with TX license)
- $100/day per diem for 6-7 days worked
- Weekly direct deposit
