Journeyman Electrician $28-32/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring Commercial Electrician for several projects in and around the Cleveland area starting asap.
Commercial Electrician Job Description:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings.
- Ensure work complies with relevant codes under supervision of Foremen and Project Managers.
- Plan layout and installation based on job specifications and local codes.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment for each job, including power tools and testing equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and rectify operating errors effectively.
- Follow blueprints to ensure correct wiring and equipment placement.
- Install conduit and pull wires through designated areas.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as trenching and lifting heavy objects.
- Fluent with EMT conduit and some experience with rigid conduit.
- Perform power distributions including transformers and panels.
- Work independently on large and small wire pulls as required.
- Basic knowledge of special systems is necessary.
- Maintain a team-oriented environment and interact effectively with customers or the public.
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in commercial electrical work.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Basic hand tools appropriate for the trade.
- Experience with power tools is a plus.
Commercial Electrician Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay between $26-$30.
- Weekly direct deposit.
