Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer $28-$34/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring a skilled and dedicated Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to design specifications and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on various HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites as required for installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to HVAC installations.
- Ability to design efficient HVAC solutions based on client needs.
- Experience in equipment repair related to heating and cooling systems.
- Knowledge of refrigerants and their safe handling practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer Compensation/Benefits:
- $28-$34/hr BOE
