Journeyman Industrial Electrician $27-$30/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Journeyman Industrial Electricians for a long-term assignment in a food-grade facility in the Wooster area. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of industrial experience working with ridged pipe, PLCs, motor controls, etc. This work has been ongoing for 15 years so no end in sight for well qualified reliable candidates. Must have standard PPE and hand tools. Schedule is 4/10s with potential for overtime.
Journeyman Industrial Electrician Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
- Proficient with rigid conduit
- PLC and motor controls experience required
- Able to perform large and small wire pulls with little or no supervision.
- Other additional related tasks and duties as needed.
Journeyman Industrial Electrician Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Must be able to bend rigid conduit
- OSHA 10 preferred but NOT required
- MUST have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- MUST have hand tools and standard PPE
