Licensed Kansas Journeyman Electrician Job Description:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in solar fields.
- Plan layout and installation based on job specifications and local codes.
- Determine tools and equipment needed; use power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance.
- Follow blueprints to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing in designated areas and pull wires or cables through to complete circuits.
- Perform physically demanding tasks like digging trenches or lifting heavy objects.
- Familiarity with EMT conduit and some experience with rigid conduit.
- Perform power distributions (transformers, panels, etc.).
- Able to perform wire pulls with minimal supervision.
- Other related tasks as required.
Licensed Kansas Journeyman Electrician Qualifications:
- Kansas Journeyman license (no reciprocity accepted from other states).
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Basic hand tools and PPE required for your trade and skill level.
Licensed Kansas Journeyman Electrician Compensation:
- $38-$40/hr (locals only, no per diem).
- Work schedule: 4/10s (possibly 5th day).
- Weekly direct deposit.
