Mig (Stick) Welder/Rigger $33-$34/HR $105/day PD
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Boilermaker/Riggers proficient in mig welding for a 2-week power plant shutdown in Colver, PA starting Monday April 28th. Additional stick welding experience is a HUGE PLUS! You will be welding on boiler casings and air heat tubes. Qualified candidates will also have some chain falls/come along experience. Rigging experience preferred This job requires you wear a half-face respirator and Tyvek suit (both provided).
Boilermaker/Rigger Qualifications
- 5+ years of Boilermaker experience
- Baghouse exp a PLUS!
- Proficient with mig/stick welding on structural steel
- Must be an experienced fitter
- Must have some rigging experience
- Some chain falls/come along experience preferred
- Must pass drug test and blood alcohol test day 1
- Must wear the provided Tyvek suit and half face respirator
- Must be clean shaven (other than mustache) for respirator fit test
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Boilermaker/Rigger Compensation/Benefits
- $33/hr for days 7a-7p
- $34/hr for nights 7p-7a
- $105/day per diem
- $180 travel pay
- Working 7/12s so 44 hours of overtime/wk
