Millwright/Riggers $30-$40/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring experienced Millwright/Riggers LOCAL to Bridgeport, NJ for a project starting asap. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of field experience working as a Millwright/Rigger. Must have all own PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, steel toe boots and harness. Must be experienced operating a scissor lift.
Millwright/Rigger Qualifications
- 7+ years of verifiable field experience as a millwright
- 3+ years of heavy rigging
- Ability to rig equipment to a forklift to be moved
- Must have PPE including fall protection
- Must have hand tools including an impact gun
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must be able to commute back and forth daily
Millwright/Rigger Duties
- Assembling and installing silos and machinery
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
- Perform work from a scissor lift
- Use impact gun and other hand tools
Millwright/Rigger Compensation/Benefits
- $30-$40/hr BOE
- NO per diem- locals only
- 40 hours/wk M-F
- Weekly direct deposit
