Pipefitter/Bolt-up Mechanic $28-$30/HR
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring experienced Pipefitters (Bolt-Up Mechanics) for compressor station work in and around the Mannington, WV area starting ASAP. Work consists of working with small bore black carbon and galvanized screw pipe, threaded pipe. Pipefitters (Bolt-up Mechanics) will have 4+ years industrial experience. Some oil & gas experience PREFERRED. OSHA 10 or PEC Safeland card required. Must have all PPE including Fire Retardant Clothing and basic hand tools.
Pipefitter (Bolt-Up Mechanic) Qualifications
- 4+ years industrial pipefitting exp
- Some oil & gas experience PREFERRED
- Proficient with bolt-up
- Very experienced with threaded pipe
- Experience with hydro-test setup a PLUS
- Must be willing to work inside and out, above ground and below ground
- Must take direction and pay attention to detail
- HIGH mechanical aptitude
- MUST have OSHA 10 or PEC Safeland card
- MUST have ALL PPE including FR clothing
- Must be available to work Mon-Sat 7am-530pm
Pipefitter (Bolt-Up Mechanic) Job Description
- Installation of various sized piping systems
- Work with small bore, black carbon or galvanized pipe and threaded pipe
Pipefitter (Bolt-Up Mechanic) Compensation/Benefits
- $30/hr for local commuters
- $28/100 per diem for travelers (per diem for 6 days worked)
