Pre-Engineered Metal Building Foreman $28 – $30
We are currently hiring a Metal building Foreman for projects local to the Atlanta area and with travel throughout the southeast. Applicants should have 7 years of verifiable experience in the pre-Engineered Metal Building Sector as well as 3 years as a foreman. We prefer for candidates to be willing to relocate to the greater Atlanta area but it is not required
Travel is required. We are looking for applicants interested in traveling projects throughout the southeast. We have a good consistent base of work local to the Atlanta area but there are projects that would require travel
Metal Building Foreman Responsibilities:
- The Metal Building Foreman will be required to direct work crews on the job site from steel erection, standing seam roofing, IMP, sheet metal siding, trim, gutters, insulation, etc.
- The Metal Building Foreman is held accountable for the safety and quality of their work and for completing the project within the budgeted cost and time frame.
- Oversee individual projects from start to finish
- Reading of Blueprints, Site plans, Etc.
- Operate various Equipment on site such as ATF, Lull, manlift, scissor lift
- We are looking specifically for applicants with experience erecting Butler buildings
- We are looking for applicants with experience with larger projects in excess of 200,000 square feet
- Must be able to provide project references for Butler or VP
Metal Building Foreman Qualifications:
- 7 Years Previous experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings
- 3 Years as a Steel erection foreman
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
- Lift certifications are a plus
- OSHA cert is a plus
- NCCCO Crane Operator Cert is a big plus
