Project Manager / Metal Building Construction – $90K – $110K
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage our commercial subcontracting projects, specifically focusing on steel erection for metal buildings. This role is crucial for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and client expectations. You will need to excel in contract management, project scheduling, and employee supervision while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Contracts: Oversee contract terms, negotiate agreements, and maintain clear documentation.
- Project Planning: Develop timelines, manage schedules, allocate resources, and track project progress.
- Lead Teams: Supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensure project compliance, and provide regular performance feedback.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and approvals for changes.
- Change Management: Prepare and negotiate change orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Reporting & Documentation: Deliver detailed project reports and maintain up-to-date project records.
- Ensure Safety: Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in project management within the steel erection or construction sector.
- Expertise in contract management, negotiation, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
