Senior Manager – PMO

Location: Orlando, FL (preferred) | Remote considered
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st Shift)
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000 annually
 


Position Summary

The Senior Manager – PMO is responsible for leading project management operations, ensuring successful delivery of client programs while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. This role oversees multiple Project Managers, drives process improvements, and manages key client relationships. The position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to manage large-scale project portfolios within a construction environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for client satisfaction, including preparation and execution of quarterly business reviews
  • Own and manage client relationships
  • Oversee project pipeline development, including identification and onboarding of new projects
  • Lead and manage Project Managers, ensuring effective execution of projects and alignment with organizational goals
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and allocate resources based on team capabilities and project requirements
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and professional development for team members
  • Drive process improvements, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and best practices
  • Ensure team compliance with safety protocols; monitor, document, and facilitate required safety training
  • Conduct periodic site visits to support project oversight and team engagement
  • Manage financial performance across multiple projects exceeding $30M annually, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and billing

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and client relationship management within the construction industry
  • Experience as a construction consultant or owner’s representative is highly preferred

Certifications

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification required
  • LEED accreditation, General Contractor license, or relevant professional affiliations preferred
