Senior Project Manager – Siemens Energy

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st Shift)
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually


Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of assigned construction projects and client programs. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both client and company objectives. The position requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale construction projects and/or client programs from initiation through close-out
  • Define project scope, identify qualified vendors, and develop comprehensive bid packages across multiple disciplines
  • Evaluate and compile bids, presenting recommendations to clients for award decisions
  • Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with expectations
  • Oversee contractor performance post-award to ensure adherence to project goals, timelines, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, meeting minutes, and close-out materials
  • Provide regular progress updates and reporting to client stakeholders and senior management
  • Manage all aspects of project administration and financial tracking, including forecasting and accruals
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Technical construction project management
    • Financial management (budgeting, forecasting, accruals)
    • Vendor and subcontractor management

Certifications

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification required
  • LEED accreditation, General Contractor license, or professional affiliations preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to prepare estimates, schedules, financial reports, and client deliverables

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with field personnel, subcontractors, clients, and executive leadership
  • Skilled in presenting proposals, project updates, and reports to stakeholders
