Summit Skilled Solution looking for motivated Skilled Laborers/Carpenter Helpers to join our team in Northeast Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, construction, or other installation roles, though we’re open to training someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
Skilled Laborer/Carpenter Helper Job Scope:
- Client Service: Provide top-notch service with a positive, professional attitude.
- Product Expertise: Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of our custom awning and shade products.
- Precision Work: Read and interpret tape measurements to ensure correct installation.
- Installations: Mount awnings securely to various structures, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with installation teams and work well with other trades on site.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols during installation.
Skilled Laborer/Carpenter Helper Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Construction, carpentry, or similar trades background preferred but not required.
- Skills: MUST be able to accurately read a tape measure down the 8th”. Must also be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working at heights (ladder climbing required) and maneuvering equipment.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean record (must be comfortable driving a truck and trailer up to 30 ft).
- Work Ethic: Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Positive Attitude: Bring a sense of humor and enthusiasm to the job!
- Must pass drug test and background check
Skilled Laborer/Carpenter Helper Compensation/Benefits:
- Training: We’ll provide the necessary training to get you up to speed.
- Compensation: Pay ranging from $18-$20/hr to start, with overtime opportunities.
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 30 days; Paid Holidays & PTO after 90 days; 401K with match after one year.
