Structural Welder / Ironworker $30 / $100 Perdiem / $150 Travel Pay
We are currently seeking Ironworker / Welders. This position requires 3 years of verifiable experience erecting steel. Must have welding continuity log, welding cert, and aerial lift
Ironworker / Welders Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout and dimensions of structural components
- Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components, including beams, columns, and braces
- Use various tools and equipment such as welding machines, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to cut, shape, and bend steel
- Perform rigging operations to lift and position heavy steel components
- Install metal decking and other materials to create floors, walls, and roofs
- Weld or bolt connections between structural steel members
- Inspect completed structures for quality and adherence to codes and standards
Ironworker / Welders Skills:
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience with ductwork fabrication, machining, pipe threading, and plasma cutting
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to structural steel construction
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in ironworking
- Skilled in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and working at heights
