Utility Foreman
Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Foreman for work in Sioux Fall, South Dakota. You will be responsible for the successful execution of earthwork projects involving water, sewer and storm installations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to assist in different areas as needed
Underground Utility Foreman Duties
- Manage and assist with various tasks on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints to support project requirements
- Utilize software such as Primavera, Prolog, and Heavy Bid for project coordination
- Assist in budgeting and cost control activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Conduct inspections using tools like an ohmmeter
- Support contract management activities as directed
Underground Utility Foreman Qualifications
- Experienced working with water, sewer and storm installations
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Familiarity with construction site operations and procedures
- Knowledge of budgeting processes within a construction environment
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with software tools like Primavera, Prolog, and Heavy Bid is a plus
Underground Utility Foreman Compensation/Benefits
- $35-$40/hr based on experience
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Single coverage health insurance after 60 days
