Job Overview
Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced Restoration Carpenter Foreman for commercial, industrial, institutional, multi-family, and residential reconstruction projects.
We are looking for an advanced-level carpenter who can perform skilled reconstruction work while leading crews, training less-experienced carpenters, and helping keep projects on schedule. Periodic travel may be required for large-scale CAT (Catastrophe) reconstruction projects.
Restoration Carpenter Foreman Responsibilities
- Perform advanced restoration and reconstruction carpentry.
- Install metal framing, acoustical ceilings, rough/finish carpentry, doors, cabinetry, insulation, roofing, and siding.
- Build containment systems and perform flood cuts and emergency board-ups.
- Lead and train carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Identify jobsite issues and communicate with project management.
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment.
- Protect customer property and maintain a safe, professional jobsite.
- Assist with shrink-wrapping and emergency restoration projects as needed.
Restoration Carpenter Foreman Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional carpentry/construction experience preferred.
- Restoration, reconstruction, or commercial construction experience highly preferred.
- Strong experience with metal studs, acoustical ceilings, framing, finish carpentry, doors, cabinetry, roofing, insulation, and siding.
- Previous foreman, lead carpenter, or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot jobsite issues and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to travel periodically for CAT/reconstruction projects.
- Must be comfortable performing emergency restoration work.
Restoration Carpenter Foreman Compensation
- $30.00–$37.00/hour, based on experience and skill level, with overtime opportunities depending on project needs.
