ASME Vessel Welder – $28 – $32 / Hour
We are seeking a skilled ASME Code Pipe Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating pipe systems in accordance with ASME codes and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and high alloy metals. This is for local shop work
ASME Code Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication of pipe systems in accordance with ASME codes and specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Select and set up welding equipment and tools
- Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning and grinding
- Perform inspections on completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
ASME Code Welder Requirements:
- Must pass 6G SMAW on 2 1/2″ Carbon / .276″ Wall & 6G GTAW on 2″ stainless / .218″ Wall
- Sanitary Stainless is a big plus
- 3-5 years of verifiable experience
- Drivers license Required
- Drug screen and background check required
