Welder (Semi-Automated) – Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Welder to operate automated welding equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and is confident in both machine operation and hands-on welding repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Set up and operate semi-automatic welding machines
- Weld components in various positions using MIG processes
- Perform leak testing and quality checks on all welds
- Identify defects and complete necessary repairs by hand
- Conduct penetration/dye testing to ensure weld integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of welding experience preferred
- Strong experience with MIG welding on mild steel
- Ability to read and interpret prints and welding symbols
- Experience with quality control and inspection processes
- Comfortable working in a production-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Weld Test:
- MIG welding on mild steel plate in the 1G (flat) position
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time position
- Overtime may be available
- Pay based on experience
