We are building our first Atlanta-based maintenance team. This role supports conveyor maintenance, service, and troubleshooting across customer sites within a 2-hour radius. The position is designed for someone who wants to grow into a Lead role and eventually train future technicians as the team expands.
Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on conveyor systems (approx. 90% of workload).
Diagnose and correct mechanical failures on Dematic and Hytrol equipment.
Conduct system inspections, component replacements, belt tracking, roller adjustments, and mechanical rebuilds.
Document work performed, parts used, and maintenance status
Communicate findings, repair timelines, and risks to site contacts
Travel daily within a 1.5–2 hour radius of Atlanta for field maintenance assignments.
Hands-on mechanical experience maintaining industrial conveyor systems.
Demonstrated experience working on both Dematic and Hytrol conveyors (maintenance, adjustments, troubleshooting).
Ability to independently diagnose mechanical issues and complete corrective repairs.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a field service vehicle.
Ability to travel across the Atlanta region daily (1.5–2 hour radius).
Ability to lift 40+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform work in warehouse/industrial environments.
Industrial electrical experience related to conveyors (e.g., sensors, motors, VFDs, basic controls troubleshooting).
Experience working in a field service model with customer-facing communication.
Prior experience leading or mentoring other technicians.
This role is intended to evolve into a Lead Mechanic position.
