Restoration Laborer
About the Role
We are seeking a Restoration Laborer to support residential and commercial disaster restoration projects. This role assists with the cleanup, removal, and restoration of properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable performing physical work, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced field environment. Restoration experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring at restoration sites
- Remove damaged building materials, including drywall, flooring, insulation, and debris
- Assist with demolition and site preparation as directed
- Support fire and smoke cleanup activities, including content handling and pack-outs
- Load, unload, move, and stage restoration equipment and materials
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work alongside restoration technicians and other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow project instructions and communicate issues or site conditions to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous restoration, construction, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency service calls when needed
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation & Employment Details
- Pay: $20–$21/hour
- Overtime and emergency call opportunities available
- Background check required
- Full-time field-based restoration work
