General Laborer
Location: Toledo, Ohio area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $24/hour
Duration: Approximately 4 months, starting at the end of September and running through the end of 2026
Projects: 4 commercial bank projects, with additional projects possible
Position Overview
We are looking for a General Laborer local to the Toledo area to support commercial bank renovation and construction projects throughout the Toledo area.
This position will assist skilled trades and project crews with general construction, material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and other tasks needed to keep commercial projects moving safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and other trades with general construction tasks
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials
- Assist with job-site preparation and material staging
- Perform demolition and removal of materials as directed
- Use basic hand tools safely and appropriately
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Remove construction debris and maintain job-site housekeeping
- Assist with moving equipment and materials throughout the job site
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled trades
- Follow all job-site safety requirements
- Support other general construction tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Must have standard PPE including a hard hat, work boots, glasses, and a high-visible shirt/vest
- Ability to perform physical labor in an active commercial construction environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a project team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools
- Must be local to the Toledo, Ohio area
- Reliable transportation to project locations
