Laser Table Operator – Precision Manufacturing
We’re hiring a Laser Table Operator to support high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone experienced with laser cutting systems who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining tight tolerances. You’ll be working with advanced equipment alongside a team focused on performance and continuous improvement. Most work is in the shop but minimal travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor laser table equipment to cut and process materials to specification
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure precise output
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality, efficiency, and material utilization
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Track production output and identify opportunities to improve workflow and reduce waste
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus
- Prior experience operating laser cutting tables or similar CNC-controlled equipment
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Working knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and material handling
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively in a production setting
