Millwright/Valve Techs $30-$32/HR -Hotel paid for -$250 travel in/out $50/day for food
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Millwright / Valve Techs for a power plant project in Jamesville, NY starting Monday September 14th. Will be working 10-14 hour days removing/replacing large-scale valves for 3 months.
Millwright/Valve Tech Qualifications
- Must be checked in to the hotel in town Sunday 9/13- No driving in same day
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years documented valve install experience
- Some large-scale valve exp preferred (3′- 6′ valves)
- Must have millwright/mechanical background
- Must have rigging experience
- Must have PPE and hand tools including sockets/wrenches up to 1 1/4″, hammer, Allen wrenches, etc.
Millwright/Valve Tech Duties
- Remove/disassemble large scales valves
- Bolt together valves and pipes using large gauge bolts
- Rig valves
Millwright/Valve Installer Compensation/Benefits
- $30-$32/hr BOE
- Nice hotel paid for by GC plus $50/day per diem for food
- $250 travel in (paid after 2 weeks on job)
- $250 travel out (after job completed)
