Position Overview
Summit Skilled Solutions is supporting a confidential client in the search for a Senior Project Manager with strong design-build experience. This individual will lead complex commercial projects from concept through closeout while operating with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
This role is ideal for an experienced PM who enjoys being trusted to run projects end-to-end and prefers a lean organization over a heavily bureaucratic environment.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Leadership

  • Lead projects from pre-construction, design coordination, and budgeting through construction and closeout
  • Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, design partners, subcontractors, and internal teams

Design-Build Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with architects and engineers
  • Manage design development, constructability reviews, and value engineering
  • Ensure alignment between design intent, budget, and schedule

Financial & Schedule Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules and budgets
  • Track job costs, change orders, and forecasting
  • Identify and mitigate risks to schedule and profitability

Leadership & Accountability

  • Operate with minimal oversight while maintaining transparency
  • Set the tone for accountability, urgency, and quality
  • Mentor junior team members as the organization grows

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
  • Strong design-build project background
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
  • Experience managing projects valued at $2.5M–$10M
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Smartsheet, Foundation preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
