Structural Welder – $25 – $27 / Hour
We are currently hiring experienced Structural Welders for heavy steel fabrication work. Candidates must be proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding and able to pass a standard 3G weld test. Ideal applicants will have at least 3–5 years of verifiable experience working with heavy structural steel.
Structural Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on mild steel and structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions
- Weld metal components using arc welding and flame-cutting equipment
- Complete welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions
- Prepare and clean materials prior to welding
- Ensure weld quality meets company and customer specifications
- Work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop environment
Structural Welder Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of verifiable structural welding experience
- Strong experience with heavy structural steel fabrication
- Ability to pass a 3G weld test
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read blueprints and follow fabrication drawings
