Welder / Fitter $26 – $28/HR – 1st Shift
Currently hiring Structural Fitter. Applicants should be fluent in reading blueprints and should be able to pass a fitting test. Applicants should have 3-5 years minimum of verifiable experience Fitting structural steel & various weldments. This is a minimum requirement for this position and you will not be considered without this level of experience.
1st shift
Responsibilities of the Structural Fitter:
- Ability to read blueprints fluently, must know all weld symbols.? We are not looking for someone who has read 1 set of shop prints.? You will need to read all different types of blueprints.
- Solid Experience working with Structural steel & large weldments
- Experience reading standard and metric prints
- Cope, cut and fabricate beams, Columns, etc to fit blueprint specs
- Tack welding
- Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions
Requirements of the Structural Fitter:
- 3-5+ years of verifiable experience
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- OSHA 10 is a plus but not a requirement
- Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement
