We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join a structural steel fabrication team in Parma, OH. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who can both fit and weld from prints and takes pride in precision craftsmanship.
Job Responsibilities
- Weld and fit structural steel components to print specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints fluently
- Perform fabrication and fitting work with minimal supervision
- Work with HSS tube, I-beams, and structural steel assemblies
- Ensure weld quality and dimensional accuracy meet project requirements
Qualifications
- Strong background in structural steel welding and fitting
- Highly experienced in welding, fabrication, and layout
- Proven experience working with HSS tubing and I-beams
- Ability to read prints independently and execute work accurately
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Compensation
- $27–$32/hour, depending on experience and weld test
