Welder/Quality Control Inspector 

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Quality Control Inspector to support fabrication, welding, inspection, and code compliance activities within our manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on welding responsibilities with quality inspection and documentation oversight to ensure projects meet ASME code requirements and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in fabrication environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to support both shop production and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of fabrication projects
  • Work with Carbon Steel, Nickel alloys, and Hastelloy materials
  • Inspect welds, fabricated components, and finished products for quality and code compliance
  • Verify projects meet ASME code requirements and customer specifications
  • Complete and maintain quality control documentation and code paperwork
  • Review weld procedures, fabrication drawings, and inspection requirements
  • Support shop operations and assist with fabrication activities as needed
  • Identify quality issues and communicate corrective actions with production teams
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Assist with material verification, production checks, and final inspections

Qualifications

  • Experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of ASME codes and quality documentation requirements
  • MIG and TIG welding experience required
  • Experience inspecting welds and fabricated components preferred
  • Experience working with Carbon Steel, Nickel, and Hastelloy materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production environment

Requirements

  • Must pass a basic drug screening
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to work in a fabrication/shop environment
  • Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods as needed
